Hi guys, I'm sorry I haven't updated this thing in, what, five months? *cringe* Sorry. Uni life proves to be hectic and my LiveJournal can be really dominating when it wants to be.

So, let me see... well, I've just arrived back at Uni from my Easter holidays; we broke up rather late and this term is very short; it's just revision and then the exams, which I'm rather nervous about.

Over the Easter holidays there was quite a bit going on; my Mum had an operation on her heart and spent a long time recovering from it (she still is) and so I witnessed a lot of her ups and downs. While the operation was being done I went to look after my Nan and you know, for some reason I always take my Count Duckula DVDs along because I just like watching them in her house. Also, I watched the episodes "Hardluck Hotel" and "Hunchbudgie of Notre Dame" so many times because that sometimes happens with me; I can't stop thinking about a certain episode and have to watch it over and over until I'm satisfied.

Once I got home, I disappeared into my own little bubble for a while and ended up learning quite a bit about myself; my imagination, head and heart took quite a bit on during the last few weeks. Some of my fandoms suffered as a result because through a concoction of different elements, I suddenly wasn't interested in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Count Duckula or Danger Mouse, but this is also normal for me; I'll be drawn to a certain fandom and all the others will get neglected for a while. It's strange, especially for the Count Duckula fandom, because I've been obsessed with that ever since I saw the first episode back in 2007. I never thought I could suddenly lose interest in it for a while. Have no fear, though, Ducky won't be forgotten; in the first week of the holidays I got so many ideas for this new Count Duckula fanfiction I'm going to write and publish in the summer, as well as a couple of others that are starting to take shape.

Anyway, the weekend revision won't do itself, so I need to get moving and get to bed.
